Today we continue with part three of our four-part sermon series on the church. In the first sermon, we considered how the church began in an upper room on the Day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out, a few days after Jesus ascended back to heaven. In the second sermon, we considered the first sermon preached in the early church and how people responded to that sermon. In this third sermon in the series, we will consider the corporate life of the early church, based on Luke’s description in Acts 2:42-47. Let’s open our hearts and hear and heed God’s word today.
