What does it mean to follow Jesus? The answer depends on who you ask. But we do not have to depend on trying to sort through multiple opinions about what it means to follow Jesus. Jesus himself told us what it means to follow him. In this morning’s sermon, we will be considering one of the Scripture passages in which Jesus laid down the terms of following him. And contrary to popular opinion, they are very surprising. As a community of disciples, let’s open our hearts and hear God’s word this morning.
