Seek the Lasting City

Passage: Hebrews 13:7–16

We don’t need to live very long to realize how transient life in this world is. Nothing lasts on this side of eternity. Clothes wear out, cars break down, and even buildings are destroyed. And most painful of all, our relationship with loved ones often times end in death. However, we still tend to forget the reality of our transient lives, so Scripture reminds us again and again that this life is passing away. In today’s message, we will consider one of these reminders.
